Frequently Asked Questions
How old do I need to be to get tattooed?
We require all clients to be at least 18 years old and have a valid form of photo ID with them.
Do you pierce?
No, we do not offer piercing.
Do you offer Gift Cards?
We do sell Gift Certificates in person, please come down to the shop during our normal operating hours and we’ll be able to help. We are cash only.
Do I need an appointment or do you accept Walk-Ins?
If we have time for a walk-in we do take them, you can either stop down or give us a call to check availability for the day. Otherwise we do recommend making an appointment to guarantee a spot.
How do I make an appointment?
Each artist handles their booking and policies individually. Please choose which artist you’d like to work with and reach out to them directly for booking - their contact info is in their gallery pages.
How much is a tattoo?
Pricing depends on various factors such as placement, size and complexity. Our shop rates are $80 minimum, $150/hour. Please reach out to which artist you’d like to work with for more detailed pricing.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
We recommend eating a meal before coming in for your appointment as well as bringing a (non-energy) drink with you. We also recommend wearing loose comfortable clothing that will provide easy access to the location of your tattoo. Please also ensure good personal hygiene for the comfort of both you and your artist.
Can I bring someone to my appointment?
Yes - within reason. We definitely don’t mind you bringing someone as moral support but please do not bring your entire family as our rooms will get tight! Please also remember we do not allow anyone under 18 in the shop, do not bring children to your appointment.
Is there privacy?
Yes. All of our rooms can be closed off for privacy and comfort.
Will I have to sign a release form?
Yes. All clients are required to fill out a release form upon arrival.
Can I get tattooed while on antibiotics?
No, we will not tattoo anyone who is currently on antibiotics or has just finished taking them less than a week before their tattoo. Antibiotics have the potential in some cases to affect the tattoo during the healing process so we prefer to not take a chance with your artwork.
Can I get tattooed while on blood thinners?
We always recommend you consult your doctor about any medications and how they can interact with the process of getting a tattoo.
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
Please see below for detailed healing info. Once your tattoo is healed we always recommend sunscreen when outside and daily lotion or moisturizing to keep your tattoo looking vibrant and new.
No sun/pool/ocean/hot tub for at least 2 weeks.

Remove bandage within 1 hour. Wash hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap and hot water to kill germs. With clean hands then wash your tattoo with soapy hot water and rinse. After the tattoo is clean, rinse again with cold water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
With clean hands, massage a small amount of Aquaphor ointment into the tattoo. Avoid putting too much ointment on the tattoo or leaving a thick layer on the tattoo. Too much ointment will hinder healing and may cause a breakout.
Wash and apply Aquaphor in this way at least 3 times a day for 3 days.
After 3 days begin using unscented hand lotion 1-2 times daily. We recommend Advanced Healing Lotion or Utterly Smooth. Avoid using any lotion that contains scent, aloe or cocoa butter.
Tattoo will begin to peel and flake like a sunburn as it is healing - this is normal.
Tattoo will take approx 2-3 weeks to heal. We recommend continued daily use of lotion to keep your tattoo looking good.
Remember:
NEVER touch your fresh tattoo unless your hands are clean.
DO NOT pick, peel or scratch at your tattoo during the healing process.
If you suspect you have a problem or infection due to redness, swelling, pus or cloudy fluid call us immediately at 609-971-1236 or contact your Doctor.

We do NOT recommend this method of healing for anyone who is sensitive or allergic to adhesives or tapes!
Wash hands with antibacterial soap and gently remove the bandage after 24 hours.
Wash tattoo with warm water and antibacterial soap.
Let tattoo dry completely - adhesive will not stick to wet skin.
DO NOT apply any ointment or lotion before applying new bandage.
Apply new bandage and remove after 6 days (1 total week since being tattooed)
Tattoo may still be peeling/flaking after final removal, apply lotion once or twice daily until completely smooth and healed.
Other notes:
On application, make sure ENTIRE tattoo is sealed up under the film.
Bandages may overlap if it requires more than one to cover hour tattoo.
No ocean/sun/pool for at least 2 weeks, even WITH the bandage.
Do not use if very sensitive to adhesive or tape - some redness may occur on peeling bandage off.
Bandages is removed best in a warm shower to soften the film.
It is normal to have a "negative" of your tattoo on the peeled film.
If your bandage has peeled enough that your fresh tattoo is exposed to air please remove the bandage and heal your tattoo with the ointment method.
If bandage is irritating your skin or causing redness or discoloration please remove the bandage and heal your tattoo with the ointment method.
